PEI’s Finest Golf – 2024 NGCOA GOLFEXPO CONTEST
Monday, April 1 through to Tuesday, April 30, 2024

Eligibility
The contest is open to all residents of Canada age 18 years and older except directors, officers and employees of the Government of PEI, any of the sponsoring companies or affiliated companies or their immediate families, cohabitants, agents or contractors. The contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law. Any and all disputes will be resolved in accordance with the laws and in the courts of the Province of PEI. Should there be a conflict between the PEI laws and any other laws, the conflict shall be resolved in favor of the PEI laws. No purchase is necessary.

Terms
• Entries can be submitted on line.  Contest closes March 17, 2023.
• The odds of winning depend on the number of entries received by the contest deadline. The prize winners will be selected via a random draw of entrants. Non-compliance with any entry procedure may result in disqualification.

Prize – PEI Play and Stay Golf Package valued at $1,500
Prize includes:
• Two (2) nights’ accommodation (double occupancy) at either Rodd Brudenell Resort or Rodd Crowbush Resort.
• Three (3) rounds of golf for two (2) people, power carts included at The Links at Crowbush Cove Golf Course, Brudenell River Golf Course, and Dundarave Golf Course.

Prize must be claimed on or before October 1st, 2023 otherwise the prize will be forfeited – no extensions will be permitted. If the winner does not utilize any part(s) of the prize, then any such part(s) not utilized will be forfeited in their entirety and nothing will be substituted in their place. Prizes must be accepted as awarded and cannot be exchanged, transferred or converted to cash except that PEI’s Finest Golf reserves the right to make substitutions on prizes, but solely at PEI’s Finest Golf’s discretion. Prize does not include any fees, charges, taxes, gratuities, insurances, travel or personal expenses other than those costs or benefits described above. PEI’s Finest Golf assumes no responsibility or liability for damages, losses or injury that may result from the acceptance or use of prize. By accepting the prize, the winner waives all recourse against PEI’s Finest Golf and their officers, employees, agents and contractors.

Publication
By entering the contest, entrants consent to the use, without payment or compensation, of their names, city of residence and image for publicity purposes in all media carried out by the PEI’s Finest Golf and the Government of PEI. Winners’ names and photographs may be published on www.peisfinestgolf.com Entrants also consent to the use, without payment or compensation, of their names and image within video recorded documentation. Winners may be asked to participate in other PEI’s Finest Golf marketing initiatives related to promoting PEI as a golf destination.

Deadline
All entries must be received no later than 11:59 pm Atlantic Standard Time on March 17, 2023. The potential winner will be contacted via email by a representative of PEI’s Finest Golf, and must reply within 48 hours to maintain eligibility. If the potential winner cannot be contacted within this time period or fails to respond to any attempted contact, such potential winner will be disqualified, his/her entry will be declared null and void and PEI’s Finest Golf reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to select at random another eligible entry, in which event these provisions shall apply to such other eligible entry.

General
PEI’s Finest Golf cannot be held responsible for entries that are lost or delayed during submission. PEI’s Finest Golf is not responsible for any failure of the website during this contest. Nor are they responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions of computer online systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software or any e-mail, online or internet entry lost due to technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer or property related to or resulting from playing or downloading any material in the promotion.

PEI’s Finest Golf reserves the right to cancel the contest or modify these rules at its discretion. Decisions of PEI’s Finest Golf will be final on all aspects of the contest, including matters of fact, interpretation, eligibility, procedure and fulfillment. This contest shall be subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws.

Privacy
By entering this contest, each entrant consents to PEI’s Finest Golf and their agents, employees and contractors storing, sharing and using the personal information submitted with his or her entry only for the purposes of administering the contest and in accordance with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act R.S.P.E.I. 1988, Cap. F-15.01. PEI’s Finest Golf and their agents, employees and contractors will not otherwise sell or disclose any entrant’s personal information. PEI’s Finest Golf has permission to use the information provided for the purpose of marketing. MANDATORY GUIDELINES

 

• Use is restricted to individuals (and their guests) that had a 2023 PEI’s Finest Golf Membership Package or have purchased a 2024 PEI’s Finest Golf Membership Package. Non-members cannot book time on the simulator. PEI’s Finest Golf Members are accountable for guests and must ensure they know and understand the simulator guidelines. Our online waiver must be completed prior to your reservation.

 

• Indoor footwear must be worn, clean sneakers or clean spikeless golf shoes are required. All outdoor footwear must remain at the entrance to the simulator room.

 

• Golf clubs and balls being used must be clean and free of markings. Worn golf balls, dirt in the grooves and face of clubs, and ink markings on golf balls shorten the life of our screen and can cause tears.

 

• Any damage done to the simulator equipment or the simulator room and furniture is the responsibility of the user to replace.

 

• Food and drinks are not permitted in the simulator room.

 

• The simulator room is monitored by video surveillance.

 

• In the case of a winter storm simulator golf may be canceled, all bookings will be notified as soon as possible.

 

• Failure to follow any of these mandatory guidelines will result in a suspension of your simulator use.
